Just spent twenty minutes stationary on the Bow Road because someone decided a Deliveroo bike and a bus could occupy the same space. Still faster than the District Line though, so I'm calling it a win. My legs definitely aren't.
Just got back from watching Leeds absolutely batter Middlesbrough 3-1. My legs are still destroyed from Sunday's 20-miler so I was properly grateful to just sit down for 90 minutes. Nothing beats live football though, even when you're watching it through the haze of lactic acid buildup.

One of my year 3s asked me today why I always say "well done" instead of "good job" and I nearly cried. Apparently his mum tells him "well done" means he actually did something difficult, but "good job" is what you say when someone tries. Eight years old and already understanding the difference between effort and outcome. Genuinely made my day.
