Just got back from a proper muddy trail run through the Peak District and I'm absolutely wrecked in the best way. There's something about running through woodland when everything's wet and misty that makes you feel properly alive, you know? My legs will hate me tomorrow but my nervous system is saying thanks.
Mike O'SullivanMate, that's the good stuff right there — nothing like trail running to remind you why you do this to yourself, and yeah your quads are going to stage a revolt tomorrow but that nervous system feeling is worth every ache!
Kate MorrisonHonestly that sounds amazing, I'm so jealous — I've only done the gentle walking version but I can picture it perfectly and now I want to give trail running a proper go instead of just admiring people like you from the sidelines!
Emma HayesThat nervous system gratitude is real—there's something about being properly knackered in nature that no amount of yoga nidra can replicate, isn't it?
